A walking tour along the streets of Dervio. An ideal itinerary to discover this idyllic corner of Lake Como in a few hours. There are some places that you want to visit because you give them an sentimental value. You can feel them close to you even though you’ve never visited them, maybe because your origins come from there. The more time passes the stronger that ideal link gets, until you visit that place and give a real image to those stories you’ve heard throughout life. This is what happened between me and  Dervio , on  Lake Como , my mother’s place of origin. All my life I’ve heard about it    and wanted to visit it on person. At last that moment has come. It’s been a too shot visit for me, but, it’s enough until the moment I’ll be back there. Why is turning to bicycle mobility important? Here 7 reasons why it would be a good idea to move by bike, becoming more sustainable for the environment and improving our health  In the last year, in which coronavirus has  obliged us to change our habits, a thing over everything has come to light: the problem of  over-pollution . While we were closed at home, doing our duty to avoid the spread of the contagion, we saw the nature taking a sigh of relief. We saw videos of wild animals that walked undisturbed along the streets of towns, the water of canals in Venice becoming clear, dolphins playing near the docks of ports. Personally, I experienced a night of absolute silence, then another one where in the only sound was the rain falling on the balcony and on the ground.   Una passeggiata nella storia di Manduria per conoscere i Messapi, un popolo fiero e ricco. Ripercorriamo le loro tracce nel Parco Archeologico di Manduria Colonne antiche come un tempio classico, sul muro lo stemma della città di Manduria e solo un cancello a separarci da un mondo lontano. È il passaggio che ci permetterà di conoscere la storia passata di Manduria e del suo antico popolo, i Messapi . Inizia da qui la visita al Parco Archeologico di Manduria , ancor prima di varcare la sua soglia. Anna, la nostra guida, ci tiene a farci sapere che ciò che abbiamo davanti, questa scenografica entrata, è un falso storico e i blocchi alla base delle colonne provengono dalle mura messapiche. Fa sorridere che per proteggere un bene, siano state prese parti di esso. Anna però vuole mettere subito le cose in chiaro: solo e soltanto questo non è autentico; tutto ciò che vedremo oltre il cancello è vero e documentato, oltre il cancello c’è la verità dei Messapi.   Quali sono i dolci pasquali della tradizione pugliese? E perché hanno quelle forme? Scopriamo insieme cosa si prepara per Pasqua in Puglia e cosa questi dolci simboleggiano La settimana di Pasqua è sempre stata caratterizzata dalla preparazione dei dolci pasquali tradizionali in casa. Noi piccoli ci mettevano insieme alla mamma con farina, uova, latte e burro per fare le scarcelle . La mamma preparava l’impasto e una volta pronto era il nostro turno: piccole manine si impegnavano per dare alla sfoglia appiccicaticcia la forma di una colombella, metterle un occhietto di cioccolato, il becco di mandorla, una spolverata di codette di zucchero (perché così è tutta bella colorata!) e, infine, l’uovo sodo, che prima era stato attentamente decorato con i coloranti alimentari. Così passava il pomeriggio tra risa, pezzetti di impasto attaccati un po’ ovunque, seduti per terra a contemplare il forno e vedere le nostre scarcelle crescere e dorarsi.
