  Let's have a walk in I Giardini di Pomona, the botanical conservatory in the countryside of Valle d'Itria, and discover its collection of fig trees and not only  “ I Giardini di Pomona …what’s that?” I’d just received the guide of the cycle path of the Apulian aqueduct and as a good snoop dogg I was analising its route. I couldn’t follow it completely, not at the moment, at least: it’s a long journey, you need to plan properly to make that travel. But no one forbade me to go for a little piece of it, maybe near to my hometown, and to stop in some interesting place. Leggi in italiano

  Hai mai provato a unire trekking e yoga? Oggi ti parlo della mia esperienza all’interno della Gravina di Castellaneta, in cui, grazie a Puglia Canyon experience, ho potuto fare un’escursione alla volta di una grotta naturale dove abbiamo praticato yoga e ci siamo riconnessi alla Madre Terra. A chi viene in visita nella Terra delle Gravin e consiglio sempre di fare un’escursione in gravina. Io stessa ne ho fatte diverse e ho sempre scoperto cose nuove. Ogni gravina è differente dall’altra e ha la sua peculiarità. Dipende tutto anche da qual è lo scopo dell’escursione. Read in English

  A walk in the history of Manduria to meet the Messapians, a proud and rich people. Let’s follow their footprints in the Archeological Park of Manduria. Ancient columns like those of a classic temple. There’s the emblem of Manduria on the wall and just a gate separates us from a distant world. It’s the passage that will allow us to know the history of Manduria and of its people, the Messapians . The visit of the Archeological Park of Manduria starts from here, before passing through its gate. Our guide Anna wants us to know that what we have in front of us, this scenographic entrance, is a forgery and the blocks at the base of the columns come from the Messapian walls. It makes me smile the fact that in order to protect a monument they took some parts of it. But Anna wants to be clear: just this one is unauthentic; everything we are going to see beyond the gate is true and documented, beyond the gate there’s the Messapians’s truth.
